Dimple dies are used to improve the strength and appearance of a panel by flaring an existing hole in sheet metal up to 1/8" or 3mm thick.
The dies work great in a press or ironworker. The smaller sizes are able to be used on lighter steel or aluminium with an M12 or M16 bolt.
The set includes one of each of the following sizes:
- 1/2" (12.7mm) x 45°
- 3/4" (19.05mm) x 45°
- 1" (25.4mm) x 45°
- 1.25" (31.8mm) x 45°
- 1.5" (38.1mm) x 45°
- 2.0" (50.8mm) x 45°
Being made from high strength tool steel and having a heat treatment with a unique oil impregnation to prevent corrosion, the dies are built to last a life time.
